iPlantFile Pro App

   

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For those of you who don’t already know, PlantFile is a comprehensive database that contains detailed information on over 3000 commonly used ornamental and native plant species and their cultivars; plant images, glossaries and pest and disease information. Hunter Institute Libraries subscribe to PlantFile Online and there is also a CD version available.

Students of Horticulture, Landscape Design, Turf Management and Floristry will be interested to know that PlantFile has recently released a new app, suitable for iPhone, iPod and iPad. Based on the online PlantFile database, it is an ideal portable resource for students, home gardeners and professionals.
