Our collection for Share The Dignity

We have wrapped up our Share The Dignity drive at Hamilton TAFE Library.  Share The Dignity supports women in need (homeless women, women in domestic violence shelters) with access to feminine hygiene products that they would not be able to afford otherwise.  There was an amazing response from the TAFE community with donations given locally at Hamilton, but also donations sent to us from other TAFE locations around the state.

Here are the results of our #dignitydrive :

  • 94 packets of pads
  • 53 packets of tampons
  • 3 menstrual cups

Thank you for supporting Share The Dignity.

Share The Dignity at the Library, Hamilton Campus

We are happy to announce that we have a collection box in the Library, Hamilton Campus to support Share The DignityShare The Dignity aims to support homeless women and women in domestic violence shelters who are unable to afford sanitary items.  If you would like to supply any sanitary items please drop them into the collection box in the Library (near the newspapers) or to the Library Staff.  We are hoping to move the collection box around to different sections on campus so that the campaign is visible to all.

Thanks to Toni Foot for raising this community issue and obtaining the collection box from Share The Dignity.
