On Tuesday 31 October, Gosford Campus’s Careers, Counselling and Pathways Service is hosting a Mental Health Awareness Day event. Staff and students are invited to attend a FREE BBQ and browse information stalls provided by the Neurological and Mental Health Support Unit, the Physical and Medical Support Unit, the Multicultural Educational Support Unit, the Library and the Aboriginal Learning Circle.
The event will be held at Gosford Campus in the courtyard opposite Blocks A, B, C and D between 11:30 am and 2:00 pm.
The focus of this year’s event is “Share the Journey”, highlighting the importance of social connectedness with respect to better mental health, improving one’s ability to cope with life’s challenges and building resilience.
We look forward to seeing you there!
