National Literacy Week Winner – Hamilton Library

To celebrate National Literacy Week and the National Year of Reading 2012, students at Hamilton campus Library received a free raffle ticket whenever they borrowed a book in August.

First prize was dinner for four in the Clydesdale Restaurant, won by Jessica Latham. Second prize was dinner for two in the Clydesdale Restaurant, won by Sharyn Flack. Congratulations! We hope you enjoy your prizes.

Reading Rewards Chefs at Kurri Kurri

Hospitality students reviewed a book of their choice in a recent competition organised by HVHA teacher, Francis Hernon, and judged by Kurri Kurri Library staff. The first prize was awarded to Alisha Foote for her excellent review of Cheese : a collection of sweet & savoury recipes for every course. Congratulations Alisha!
