Donations needed for Share the Dignity: It’s in the Bag

Can you donate any of these items?

We need any unwanted handbags in good condition or any toiletries, cosmetics and gift vouchers. TAFE Community Services students are collecting these items to donate to the Share the Dignity: It’s in the Bag Promotion. Donations can be dropped off at most Hunter and Central Coast Libraries before Friday 10th November.

Veterinary Education in Video

Veterinary Education in Video from Alexander Street Press features demonstrations from many of the field’s most respected experts. Videos are relevant to all levels of veterinary practice – veterinarians, vet nurses, techs, assistants and other team members.

To access Veterinary Education in Video from the library website:

Go to the library eResources page, select v and then Veterinary Education in Video.

Instead of using your TAFE username and password, a database specific login is required from the Database Password List.

If the videos don’t appear straight away when you are logged in, select the Search All Content icon on the top left of the page and select My Collections to open the video list.

If you need help accessing these videos, ask at your local TAFE library, or you can Ask a Librarian online.

Library Holiday Hours

The holidays are nearly here! The TAFE vacation period is from Monday 26th September – Friday 7th October. Some libraries will be closed, or open only for part of the vacation period. Click here to check the opening hours for your campus Library over the break.

Going away? Most Libraries let you return your books after the holidays, but please check with Library staff. Also, please make sure that you have renewed your items if you need to do so.

Remember that you can renew your items online, via TAFEcat. To do this, you will need to get your PIN number from Library staff. Once we have given you a PIN number, you can log in and change it to something that you will easily remember.
