Refugee Week Morning Tea at Newcastle Campus Library

Newcastle Campus Library is hosting  a morning tea for Refugee Week today 9.30 -10.30

Hunter TAFE students will share their stories,  journeys, achievements, and hopes for the future. This year’s Refugee Week theme has been taken from the second verse of the Australian national anthem, ‘With courage let us all combine’, and celebrates the courage of refugees. This theme also serves as a call to action for all Australians: how can we stand up against injustice and work together to make our country one that lives up to its national anthem as a nation with boundless plains to share?
