Apple AC Wall Plug Adapter Product Recall: What To Look For

Apple have recently announced a product recall for their AC Wall Plug Adapters that have been shipped with their products between 2003 and 2015. Click or tap the image below to view the example of how to tell if your wall charger is affected:

An affected wall plug adapter has 4-5 characters or no characters on the inside slot where it attaches to an Apple power adapter. Redesigned adapters have a 3-letter regional code in the slot (AUS). Image and Information Source: Apple Support

Hunter TAFE Historical Collection : Secretarial students in class in Riddell Building (P Block), c1964

Secretarial, Business and Administrative studies have always been a popular area of study at Newcastle Campus (and many of the other Hunter Campuses).  In April 1980, Newcastle Technical College was the first college outside Sydney to receive word processing equipment, worth $50 000. It included a central processing unit, 5 work stations and 2 daisy wheel printers.

In 2016, Hunter TAFE Business and Administration courses are offered at multiple Hunter TAFE campuses and are supported by the libraries with a wide range of resources, computer access and printing facilities available to students. Long gone are the daisy wheel printers.
