Australia’s Favourite Librarian

It’s always nice to see a librarian receiving recognition for a job well done. So many are working hard behind the scenes supporting their local communities, students and teachers. Teacher Librarian, Jae Rolt, from Cessnock West Public School was recently voted Australia’s favourite Librarian in a competition run by the Australian Library Association (ALIA). It’s wonderful to see an award like this going to a librarian from the Hunter Region. Read the full article in the Cessnock Advertiser, 22nd May 2013.

“To know that I have had a positive impact on so many lives is an amazing feeling and this is something I will cherish for the rest of my life” Jae Rolt, Cessnock Advertiser, 22nd May 2013
