There was a great response to the My Favourite Read Competition held by Newcastle Campus Library.  A big thank you to all of the teachers who promoted the competition to their classes – and thanks to all students who entered.

Second Prize: Naomi Fawcett (Preparation for Work & Study) – Dictionary
Third Prize: Emily Foster (Preparation for Work & Study) -$15 Student Association Voucher

Get Reading 2012 – Winners at Wyong!

The winners have been announced for the recent Wyong Library book review competition. The competition was held to celebrate Get Reading 2012 and the National Year of Reading.

Over 60 entries were received, including staff and students from a variety of sections. The competition was especially popular with the ESOL section. Several classes wrote book reviews as a class activity and entered them.

Prizes were awarded at a morning tea held in the library on Wednesday 19th September.

National Literacy Week Winner – Hamilton Library

To celebrate National Literacy Week and the National Year of Reading 2012, students at Hamilton campus Library received a free raffle ticket whenever they borrowed a book in August.

First prize was dinner for four in the Clydesdale Restaurant, won by Jessica Latham. Second prize was dinner for two in the Clydesdale Restaurant, won by Sharyn Flack. Congratulations! We hope you enjoy your prizes.
